Merry Christmas all. I wanted to post a video clips I recorded at our Christmas set to music a-la my Spazz Attack video but my computer is not downloading the video right. So instead I leave with Tarzan, Chris Farley, and Frankenstein wishing you a Merry Christmas on my behalf and a rememberance of my favorite Christmas present.

Debate Round-up (Take 2)
Re-hashing/re-doing my debate round up from the last post's comment section:
Newt-An articulate version of George W's third term, some good times/ideas and some terrible times/ideas
Romney-Back on his game, but still not sold. Probably cracks 25% and back in the lead
Bachman-My feelings of "meh" about her know no bounds
Perry-Could be replaced by a cardboard cutout of himself with a cartoon talking bubble that just reads "Texas" on it.
Santorum-Help Obi-Wan Iowa, you're my only hope
Paul-Only if all other Republican candidates fell over dead
Huntsman-He also is a cardboard cutout, but his talking bubble says "China"
The Washington Post had a good winners/losers break down here. I agree with their assessment.

Noah's Christmas program
Well we attended our first Christmas program with Noah's class singing. All I can say was at least he wasn't disruptive. He didn't really sing, he just kind of stood there and did the hand motions with this blank "oh shit" kind of look on his face. How many more of these do I have to attend? What, three, maybe four?
Also Darci volun-told me we were playing Mary and Joseph with Grace as baby Jesus. Yup I had to squeeze into this once size fits no one brown "dress" that made me look like a cased sausage. Add the head wrap and I was a large Joseph dressed pile of embarassment. At least Grace held her own, sat in the manger and didn't cry. Pictures to follow

Debate night comment additions
Sorry I missed the last couple of your comments last night. Just read them this morning and felt I should add a few things.
-Bachman was obviously gunning for the Cain supporters to come to her side. She referenced him by name twice, most noticably at the end durning the acknowledge what you learned from someone on this stage. She threw in Cain then and once during the opening remarks, the Cain bookend. She also adopted the 9-9-9 cadence with Win, Win, Win which just makes her sound Dumb, Dumb, Dumb.
-The Romney/Perry bet flap did not get any sort of rise out of me at the time, other than it made Romney look childish. Last night and this morning I checked my politic places (Althouse, Blaze, Big Gov't, etc) and they made a deal of it on two fronts. 1-Can mormon's gamble? 2-$10,000 bet in this economy makes Romney seem the evil rich guy. My answer is don't care on either point, I just saw it as childish.
-Three months ago I would have bet my money on Romney getting the nomination. Now I don't see how he can unless Newt implodes (not out of the realm of possiblity). I would still walk over broken glass to vote for Romney over Obama, but he comming off more and more as McCain circa 2008, a soft middle of the road Republican.

Debate Night, take 2
Once again Mom and I will be commenting about the debate here tonight starting at 9pm. Feel free to join in.
What happened to 1-2-3-ah-ah-ah?

Otherwise here is a three minute video explaining it all

It makes me think about the epic Adam Carolla rant from a few days ago, which if you have not heard I am posting the "bleeped" version below. It is about 9 minutes long but oh so worth it.

Next Debate
So the next big debate is December 15. I am ready to watch and blog. I've been immersed in Christmas plans and not focused on politics much, so I am ready for another debate. Gingrich is still my man. Rush had a great monologue the other day on the republican establishment and the way they try to steer us toward the moderate candidate. There was also a good piece at National Review online about how we obssess over a candidate's sexual infidelities, but what does that really have to do with being a good president. He opined that Carter probably never strayed (although he admitted lustful thoughts!) and look what a crappy president he was. Actually, the article made much better points than I just did, but you get the idea.Seriously. Dink around if you must, but get us the heck out of debt. Christie was in Des Moines this week, and somebody asked him if he would be Romney's V.P. He looked at the woman and said, "Honestly, do I look like I could by ANYONE'S vice president? Can you see me sitting in the background nodding my head for 8 years?" Classic Christie. You gotta love it. Too bad it will be him vs. Rubio eventually. That is, however, a win-win. And, if you're watching The X Factor, (What? You're not?) Rachel Crow got hosed, and Nicole Sherzinger is an idiot.
