Obligatory rutabaga - no comment
Cranberry sauce - both kids ate this like crack
Pumpkin pie - too damned stuffed to eat this yet
In attendance: MiM, Eva, Jack, Cate and Nana Jeannie
MiM is thankful for getting to see his kids as soon as they come home everyday and for abusing noobs on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3.
Go Hawks, beat them Huskers.
Just back from the Drury dinner. Ate all white food per usual (turkey, taters, dinner rolls, pumpkin pie slathered in cool whip).
ReplyDeleteThankful for Chubbs, Gracie, and for Darci who is about to embark on a shopping nightmare unheard of in human history.
Thanksgiving at Mom's - turkey, gravy, mashed taters, sweet potatoe casserole, and corbread stuffing. All of it purchased at HyVee. I'm serious. My idea. In attendance: Vic, Mike, Mom, John, me. Vic made green bean casserole; I made apple salad and pumpkin pie. Came home and worked outside on this beautiful day. Not shopping Black Friday for the first time in 5 years. Almost done shopping anyway for the first time in decades. Still have to buy for MiM. Hope I don't forget.
ReplyDeleteI am thankful for 6 terrific grandkids, leftover pumpkin pie, 64 degrees on November 24, and that Mattie eats brussel sprouts!
