This guy is hilarious and we just got our tickets in the mail to see him in March. I'm super excited. (I figure Terry will fix this and post the actual video.)
Terry showed me this clip, but I watched again and laughed all over again. Reminds me of being in the emergency room a couple of times with kidney stones (eh, Matt?). I was always second guessing the number I gave. The minute I chose a number and the nurse left, I would think "No! No! It's much higher than that!"
FYI- we could really give a s**t about your actual number. We've pretty much decided if your pain is legit from the get go and if we think you should get pain meds anyway..... Did they write that in the Readers Digest article about what ED staff members really think/care about?
My guess is that you looked like crap and they had no problems medicating you...
Oh, yea. The puking was a dead give away. Especially the puking that continued for 15 minutes after the first dose of morphine. Yea, they were on it. I don't think I could have been uglier. Not to mention that John had been listening to the puking for a couple of hours, both at home and in the car.
